Springfield - Students might lose their meal tickets during the school year. New details of the budget state lawmakers passed last week are coming out.

In it, $210 million in education funding is being slashed, which means the school food programs could be on the chopping block.

Quinn still has to sign off on the budget.  If he does, it'll leave the state even further away from providing a basic foundation level of funding for every student.
