Rockton Fire Department responded to the call about the fire around 8:00 p.m. The home that caught fire is located in the 4100 block of West Rockton Road.  The only person in the house was the home owner who made it safely out of the house. There were no injuries involved.  Fire officials estimate the blaze caused $75,000 to $80,000 dollars worth of damage.

Rockton Fire Chief Kirk Wilson said, "it started in the garage area, we don't have a cause yet at this point but we do know it caused a substantial amount of damage."

The fire is still under investigation.
