Rockford Memorial Hospital Unveils New Unit

Rockford - Rockford Memorial Hospital shows off its new Adult Critical Care Unit.
The $1.7 million unit can hold up to eleven beds and features the latest in medical technology, including an area for computer charts. Doctors, nurses, and other staff members helped design the unit from the ground up. "The staff was involved in the design and we really looked at every detail to make sure that we could spend every possible moment with our patients at the bedside to provide excellent care" says Kit Super, a Nursing Mgr. at RMH.
Rockford Memorial serves about 1,700 critical care patients every year.
