Murder Case of Mary Jane Reed Resurfaces

Mary Jane Reed and
her companion Stan Skrida were killed on a Lover's Lane in 1948. Reed's brother
and another man are suing the Ogle County Sheriff and other government
agencies.
Reed's family is claiming
that Reed's case was botched and then covered up. They were in court today and the
hearing to dismiss the case was set for September 18th.
