Machesney Park - A local man will spend the next six years in prison.

Thomas Vojtech, 31, pled guilty to charges of aggravated battery to a peace officer and threatening a public official.

According to the Winn. Co. Sheriff, Vojtech was yelling at his neighbors and kicked their dog back in June 2011.  He then drove off.

When a Sheriff's deputy caught up to him and put his hand on the defendant's arm he sped away.  He was arrested later by Byron police officers.
