Rockford - Residents and business owners get a chance to weigh in on a major construction project.

The city wants to make major changes along N. Main St. between Auburn and Riverside.  Among them: a new median, turn lanes, and a multi-use path along the side of the road.

The plan has generally been met with good reviews.  Although, one business owner we talked to say he's worried.  "Makes me a little nervous" says Dr. Rob Andino, owner of Health First Physical Rehab which is near the intersection of N. Main and Riverside.  "Would the rent change?  Would the rent be the same?  This would add a huge amount of complexity with how we do business and where we do business."

Andino says the city could end up buying his property to make room for the construction project.
