Morning Power Outages Cause Traffic Headaches

Power is now restored in some areas after a transformer blew overnight.  Around 1,100 custormers were affected near State St. and Madison St. when power when out at around 2:45 A.M.  It was restored around 3:30 A.M.

Then, just before 6:00 A.M., power went out in a different area near downtown.  Com-Ed is aware and is working to resolve the issue.
