Shooting on South Sunset Sends Rockford Man to Hospital

July 18, 2012 (ROCKFORD) Rockford Police say it happened on the 1100 block of South Sunset Avenue around 2:00am.

Two black males in their teens approached the 39-year-old victim, pulled out a gun, and demanded his wallet.

Shots were fired and the victim was shot in the buttocks. He's expected to be okay.

Police are still looking for the suspects.
