Winn. Co. - A push for a concealed-carry law continues to gain momentum.

The Rockford Tea Party says they've collected nearly 9,000 signatures of those supporting such a law.  The group says they hope to pass the 10,000 mark this weekend.  They credit the surge to the movie theatre massacre in Colorado that left a dozen people dead.

The Tea Party will present the petition to the Winn. Co. board at next week's meeting, which includes the signatures of the County Chairman himself, Scott Christiansen, as well as Rockford Mayor Larry Morrissey.
