Illini Put On The Pads 8/8/12

Rantoul, Illinois-The Fighting Illini got physical Wednesday. They put on the pads for the first time in practice. Now Tim Beckman and his coaching staff can get a better feel for what these guys can do.
"It's great to have the shoulder pads on," said Beckman. "I've enjoyed the first two days, but the team was more physical of course, so I was happy to see the pads on."
