Football Player Dies 8/9/12

Spring Valley, Illinois-The start high school football practice brings excitement at most schools. But it brought only grief at one North Central Illinois school.

17 year old Daniel Lule collapsed on the practice field Wednesday. He died an hour later. An Autopsy will be performed Friday to determine a cause of death.

Practice was cancelled Thursday. The school is making counselors available to mourning students.

Spring Valley Hall is a member of the West Central (North) Conference.
