Lance Armstrong Stripped of Titles 8/23/12

The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency has announced that they will strip Lance
Armstrong of his record seven Tour de France titles, after the former
cycling champion claimed he would stop fighting allegations that he used
performance enhancing drugs.
Armstrong claims the USADA doesn't have the authority to strip him of his cycling titles, and that he is not admitting guilt, but is simply "finished with this nonsense."
The USADA will also give Armstrong a lifetime ban from the sport of competitive cycling in addition to stripping him of his titles.
