Rock River Red Cross Volunteers will set up shelters and help inform residents just where those shelters are located. How long those volunteers stay there though all depends on how hard Isaac hits the coasts.

Director of Rock River Valley Red Cross Lisa Ramsby said "they were originally deployed for two weeks, but just depending on the damage that is done in that area we're not sure when they'll return. But we are really happy that we're able to help and we're able to do so because of the great people in our community who donated to the Red Cross."

Dozens of emergency declarations have been issued in Louisiana, Florida, Mississippi and Alabama by local governments.
