Lake Forest, Illinois-The made two major moves on the first day of NFL free agency Tuesday. They signed tightend Martellus Bennett and offensive tackle Jermon Bushrod.

Bennett gets a four year contract. Last season with the Giants he had 55 receptions for 626 yards and five touchdowns. The previous four seasons with the Cowboys he was a part-time player. Bennett is 26 years old.

Bushrod comes from the Saints where he was a two-time Pro Bowler. But last season his production dropped off. He has started 62 of 66 games over the last six seasons. Bushrod gets a five year contract. He's expected to replace J'Marcus Webb as the Bears starting left tackle.
