Top Hoops Camp Coming 3/13/13

Rockford, Illinois-One of the top youth basketball camps will be coming to Rockford this summer. It's the Advantage Basketball Camp.
It'll be held July 8 through the 12 at Allegro Academy off Forest Hills Road just south of Riverside.
Advantage Basketball Camps started in Washington state. They've been big on the west coast. Now the camp is trying to make inroads in the Midwest and in Illinois.
The camp is open to children ages seven to 18.
The Rockford camp director is Mark Miller. "What makes us different than any other camp, and there are a lot of camps out there, we specialize in basketball for the kid that wants to get to the next level. It's not a camp where you're going to do art projects. You're really going to learn the fundamentals of basketball. It's based on learning through repetition."
Sports Illustrated For Kids magazine has rated the Advantage Basketball Camp the second best youth basketball camp in the country.
