Armed Robbery at Mosey's Liquor Store

Rockford- Mosey's liquor store in the 4000 block of West State Street was robbed at gunpoint around midnight.

 

Winnebago County Sheriff's deputies have determined one of the suspects was shot by an employee. James E. Taylor, 20, is listed in serious condition. Police say two people entered the store, both armed with their faces covered, to rob the store.

 

An employee fired shots at them and then the suspects fired back. Taylor was shot meanwhile the second robber fled. There were no customers in the store at the time. No employees were injured.
