Dozens of Goats Killed in Barn Fire

Janesville- Four fire departments were needed to put out the fire that started around 9 Saturday night. Within minutes of arriving at the property fire fighters say the barn was fully engulfed. 55 to 70 goats in the barn died. Traffic on Highway 14 had to be redirected for more than four hours. Fire officials say the damage could exceed more than $170,000 dollars.
