Beloit, Wisconsin - The Mexican Consulate makes a stop in the stateline before wrapping up nine-month tour. Hours before the Stateline Literacy Council opened their doors today, dozens of people lined up outside waiting to see representatives from the Mexican Consulate. Like visits in the past, the Consulate is issuing Mexican IDs and passports to those Mexican citizens living in the stateline. Mexican Consulate Representative Julio Huerta said, "Our goal is to serve Mexican nationals, that`s our duty. Were entitled to help take care of Mexican nationals so as long as they prove they are Mexicans and they are living here. Theyre entitled to get our Matricular IDs."
