Tuesday night the Icemen will play in the Quarterfinals in Bensenville against Guerin. Guerin won it's playoff battle with Maine Township Saturday 6-5 in overtime.
The Icemen are seeking their 16th straight State Championship. The pressure of trying to extend that streak is always there for the guys.
"Just the pressure on your back knowing you could be the one to ruin it," said Icemen defenseman Tommy Breitfuss. "You don't want to think about it. You want to think about winning all the time. We for sure want to get that goal."
"It think we actually look forward to being the top dog, and everyone's gunning for us," said forward Cole Runkel to WTVO. "That means we sure have to be on our game."
The semfinals will be played Sunday afternoon in Bensenville. The Championship game will be played Friday, March 23rd at the United Center.
