Illini To Lose Leonard 4/2/12

Champaign, llinois-The Fighting Illini are losing their big man.  7'1 Sophomore Meyers Leonard is passing on his final two years of eligibility to head to the NBA.

Leonard averaged 13 points and eight rebounds a game this past season.  He's projected to be a first round draft pick, but not a lottery pick.
