Cubs Sign Cuban Soler 6/11/12

Chicago, Illinois-The Cubs have landed one of the top prospects in pro baseball.  They've signed Cuban native Jorge Soler. 

The 20 year old outfielder can do it all...hit, hit for power, run, and throw.  The Cubs outbid several other major league franchises for the free agent.  They reportedly gave him a nine year contract worth $30 million.

Soler will be head to the minor leagues after he passes a physical.
