Olympic Swimmers Reach Out 7/10/12

Rockford, Illinois-Gil Stovall and Emily Silver know first-hand what it's like to be a part of the Olympics. They were part of the U.S. team that swam in Beijing in 2008.  Stovall swam in the 200 butterfly.  Silver was part of the silver medal winning 4x100 relay team.

Now both are retired from competitive swimming.  But they're passing on their passion for the sport and the spirit of Olympic competition to local youngsters.  That's what they did one day recently with local youngsters at Peak Fitness in Rockford.
