Rockford, Illinois-Former IceHogs Head Coach Mike Haviland is back in the AHL.  He's been named the associate coach for the Norfolk Admirals.

Haviland will be the top assistant to Norfolk Head Coach Trent Yawney.  Yawney is a former Blackhawks player and coach.

Haviland had been an assistant coach for the Blackhawks the last four years, but he was fired this spring.

He was the IceHogs Coach in 2007-08.  Before that he was Norfolk's head coach for two seasons.
