Rockford, Illinois-March Madness isn't just for basketball. It also extends to the hockey rink.
The Rockford Icemen Midget Major team won three tournament games over the past week. That puts them in the Midget Major State Championship game next Sunday. That game will be played at the Edge in Bensenville. The Icemen entered tournament play seeded seventh.
