Bears Sign Hurd

Bourbonnais, Illinois-The Bears have signed ex-NIU standout receiver Sam Hurd.  Last season with the Cowboys Hurd had 14 receptions for 120 yards.  In his five year career in Dallas Hurd had 45 receptions for 630 yards and two touchdowns.

Hurd is 26 years old.  At 6-3 he's a big target. 

The Bears also signed their top draft pick Wisconsin tackle Gabe Carimi Friday.  And they re-signed defensive tackle Anthony Adams to a two-year contract.
