Milledgeville Headed To State 5/28/12

DeKalb, Illinois-Milledgville got great pitching and great pitching Monday in an impressive 9-1 Super-Sectional win over Grant Park at NIU.

Emily Bush's streak of four straight shutouts ended, but she was still dominant in the circle pitching the Missiles to the win.

Courtney Swalve crushed a homerun over the leftfield fence to lead the hitting attack.

Milledgeville will play in the 1A State Semifinals in East Peoria Friday at noon against Goreville.
