Local Gymnasts Soar at Nationals 5/31/12

Rockford, Illinois-Countless hours in the gym have payed off for some Rockford gymnasts. Five girls recently returned from Nationals with a lot of hardware.
Anaka Benink was the level 9 All-Around Champion. Pheron Givens-Webb was the National Champion in the uneven bars for level 9. Annalie Roecker took fifth place in the All-Around cmopetition for level 9. Megan Hultgren took 10th on the bars competing on the highest level Level 10. And Sally Cooper took tenth place in level 10.
