Bears Open Mini-Camp 6/12/12

By: Scott Leber
Updated: August 20, 2012
Lake Forest, Illinois-The Bears cranked up their off-season workload another notch Tuesday.  They opened up a three-day mini-camp.

The quarterbacks and receivers worked on their timing while the defense went through drills. The players did not wear pads.

Rookie receiver Alshon Jeffrey was held out of the action with a sore leg.  Johnny Knox is still several weeks away from running routes.  He also was a spectator.

Brian Urlacher did some light work as he continues to rebound from knee surgery.  And Matt Forte, as expected, was a no-show.
