Ethnic Heritage Museum Gallery's Father of the Year

Yahcolyan Muhammad
is receiving this year's African-America Gallery award. Muhammad dedicates his
time to several church activities and tutors children in math. He is honored,
humbled and grateful he's been recognized. Muhammad said he didn't even know
he'd been nominated until a friend told him.
"So I wanted
my sons and other future black males to understand that being a father is a
very important responsibility," said Muhammad.
