Blume Memorial Set 7/17/12

Stillman Valley, Illinois-Former players and friends of football coach Joe Blume can pay their respects to Blume next Tuesday.

A 10 a.m. Mass will be held in Byron at St. Mary's.  A celebration of Blume's life will be held at the Stillman Valley football field next Tuesday evening at seven o'clock.

Blume died in his sleep last Saturday morning while vacationing in Wisconsin.

He was an assistant coach at Stillman Valley, and a former head football coach at both Stillman Valley and at Rockford Jefferson High Schools.
