Rockford - Things are certainly busy at the airport as more people are choosing to fly out of RFD.

A little over 13,000 to be exact, a 5% increase compared to this time last year.  Much of the credit the airport says is due to their service to Denver, with most of its flights close to selling out.

In the last 18 months, passenger traffic out of RFD has increased 17 times.
