Updated: July 29, 2012
The Rockford Travelers won the Ken Griffey Jr. AABC World Series crown in the 15 and Under division this past weekend.

The Travelers defeated the Texas team 3-1 in the championship game to win the title in Surprise, Arizona. That win served as vengeance for an earlier 7-0 loss they were dealt by Texas earlier in the double-elimination tournament.

Travelers catcher Nick Nalewanski was named World Series Most Valuable Player.
