Rockford - A Loves Park woman gets 10 years behind bars after trying to steal drugs from a drug dealer.

Tina Balas, 44, pleaded guilty to 2nd degree murder.  Police say she arranged a deal to buy crack cocaine, but had no plans to pay the dealer, 39 year-old Todd Kegel.

Balas enlisted the help of another man to help steal the drugs.  When Kegel showed up, a fight broke out and ended when he was stabbed in the chest, killing him.
