Police Begin Roadside Safety Checks

With the Labor Day holiday just around the corner, expect to see more police on the roads.

The State Dept. of Transportation launched its "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" enforcement effort today.  Local and state police officers will setup safety checkpoints to crackdown on drunk drivers.

Nearly 300 people died last year in alcohol-related accidents.
