Falcons Releasing Former NIU Running Back Michael Turner

Atlanta, Georgia- Former NIU running back Michael Turner is one of three veteran Atlanta Falcons players expected to be released today.

Dunta Robinson, and John Abraham are also packing their bags. The team is looking to get younger players in to develop, while saving money at the same time.

Turner had 222 carries last season for 800 yards and 10 TD. He's entering his 9th season and was expected to make around $6 million.
