Nebraska's Rex Burkhead was the only other running back on the list. Burkhead finished last season with 1,357 yards rushing and 17 touchdowns scored.

Quarterbacks Denard Robinson and Braxton Miller were the signal callers named to the list. Michigan lineman Taylor Lewan was the final offensive player named.

Michigan State had two defensive players selected in cornerback Johnny Adams and defensive end William Gholston. Ohio State defensive lineman John Simon, Purdue defensive tackle Kawann Short and Wisconsin linebacker Chris Borland finish out the list.
