Rockford, Illinois-Eric Burch is positioning himself as one of the all-time greats in Rockford golf history.  Sunday he won his third Greater Rockford Men's Golf Classic in five years.

This one was the easiest. Burch won by a whopping six strokes.  He shot a 73 at Aldeen while his closest competitors struggled.

Matt Marinaro began the day only one shot behind Burch, but he bogeyed his first three holes. He shot an 81 Sunday. Kevin Flack started the day four strokes behind Burch, but a double bogey on the par 3 5th hole took him out of the running early.  Flack wound up shooting a 78.

Eight time City Champion Jamie Hogan wound up taking second place Sunday after he matched Burch with a 73.  Jeff Holmgaard also made a solid move up the leader board into third place by shooting a 71 Sunday.
