Suspected Bank Robber in Custody

Michael Fryer, 29, is charged with armed robbery and aggravated robbery. Around 1:30 P.M. on Thursday BMO Harris Bank inside the Hilander on Rural Street was robbed at gunpoint. The suspect fled the scene in a blue pick up truck. Police found the truck's interior on fire in the 700 block of North Highland. The pick up truck was stolen.  Officers received information that the suspect fled from the blue pick up truck in a tan Buick Oldsmobile. Officers located the suspect vehicle after a chase. Fryer was found and placed under arrest.
