Illinois E-Recycling At A Good Pace

Illinois residents are stepping up to make sure e-waste doesn't end up in landfills.

Nearly 40 million pounds of electronics were recycled after the state banned people from throwing them in the trash.  Those electronics include unused computers, microwaves, and tvs.

The state requires residents to recycle it because many electronics contain toxins that can damage the environment.
