Rockford, Ill. (Feb. 1, 2012) - Stadium Journey, a magazine that publishes reviews of sports stadiums around the word, has named the BMO Harris Bank Center fifth best stadium experience in the category of minor league/junior hockey. The ranking was published in the magazine's Best Stadiums of 2011 issue which ranked in addition to minor league hockey stadiums, the top stadiums in the MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, college football, college basketball, minor league baseball, and MLS.

BMO Harris Bank Center received high marks in all areas the magazine reviews including food and beverage, atmosphere, neighborhood, fans, access, return on investment and extras

BMO Harris Bank Center scored five out of five stars for the venue's food and beverage offerings and accessibility, and four out of five for atmosphere and return on investment. Overall, the magazine cited the fact that the BMO Harris Bank Center offers a 'fantastic venue to see AHL hockey.' The magazine review also stated that 'If you live in the northern suburbs of Chicago, it is worth the extra time in the car to see the IceHogs, especially if you're a Blackhawks fan as you can have the opportunity to see some future NHL talent.'

"We are thrilled to receive this ranking from Stadium Journey magazine," said Gordon Kaye, executive director and general manager for BMO Harris Bank Center. "Our goal is to provide an excellent experience for IceHogs fans and attendees of all of the events held here. To be recognized as one of the best is a great honor."
