18-year-old Brandon Landau was found dead in a creek on March 4th at White Pines State Park, in Ogle County.Police say Landau had been at a Sigma Pi party nearby before his death. Others were arrested for underage drinking at the same party.

The suspension means Sigma Pi can only hold meetings with an adviser present. It also can't have any social events until a special hearing in mid April.

Illinois Wesleyan is now considering changing its policy about off-campus events.
"Part of that is also an opportunity to look at the educational things that might surround off campus things as well," said Karla Carney-Hall, Vice President of Student Affairs, "Whether that's additional alcohol education or making sure other educational pieces are included with that."

Illinois Wesleyan University held a memorial service for Landau onTuesday night. His cause of death is still unknown at this time.
