According to reports, the fire happened around 11:25 this morning on Poplar Grove Road.

North Boone District #3 firefighters say the owner was working inside of the barn when it happened.

They believe the fire was set off by a spark followed by an explosion, and wind conditions didn't help either.

The 7,500 square foot barn was completely burned down. The fire also destroyed his truck and other valuable belongings inside.

The owner made it out safely and no one was injured.
