Roscoe - Students and parents are on alert over a potential case of measles at Ledgewood School in the Kinnikinnick School District.

The Health Department cautions this is only a suspected case.  But, since measles is so contagious, they had to notify families.  Some symptoms include fever, cough, runny nose, red eyes, and rashes.  School administrators won't give any details about the case, but expect test results within the next few days.

Until then, kids who haven't received the measles vaccine are asked to stay home from school for the next three weeks.
