Courtney Clayton is usually good on the track, but nobody in a NIC-9 800 meter race has ever been as good as Clayton was at Boylan. Clayton won the 400 meter race before setting a conference record in the 800 meter race with a time of 2 minutes and 14.09 seconds.
Harlem distance runner Leah Raffety was also good despite nursing a sore knee. Raffety won the 1600 and 3200 meter distance races for the Huskies. That helped Harlem to finish second in the team standings behind Hononegah.
