Rockford, Illinois-More signs of change for Auburn football and for the football teams at Rockford's other public schools.

Auburn's Wyeth Stadium and Guilford's Swanson Stadium will have new Field Turf this coming season.  Workers are underway tearing out the natural grass fields.  They'll work through the summer putting in the new artificial turf.

The fields at both stadiums will be completed in August in time for the next school year.  Guilford and East play their home games at Swanson Stadium.  Auburn and Jefferson play their home games at Wyeth Stadium.
