Rockford Police Department Hosts Youth Police Academy for Summer 2012

28-students graduated from the academy at Kennedy Middle School Friday afternoon.

Geared towards teenagers, the academy will give students an eye opening experience into the work of the police department.


Aside from keeping them busy this summer, Rockford officers hope the program will also keep them out of trouble.
