Rockford, Illinois-The youngest women's Final ever is set in the Greater Rockford Women's Golf Classic.  Two teenagers will go head to head tomorrow in the Championship match.

Cynthia Bounleutay is 18, Melissa Vansistine is 17.  Thursday one of them will be crowned the queen of Rockford area golf.  In today's semifinals Vansistine defeated Allison Graceffa 2 and 1. ..meaning she was up two holes with one to play.  Vansistine will be a senior at Boylan this fall.   Her best moment Wednesday was this long putt for birdie on the 15th hole.  That gave her a two stroke cushion.  She then sealed up the match on the next hole by matching Graceffa's par.

"I'm incredibly happy and a little surprised (to be in the Finals)," said Vansistine.  "I Was just happy to make it in the Championship Flight, so to make it this far is amazing."

Bounleutay was up against Allison Gorman in the other semifinal.   Bounleutay's par putt on the tenth hole gave her a two hole advantage.  Gorman bounced back strong though.  Her birdie on the 15th hole....and Bounleutay's missed putt for boey on the 17th hole had these two ladies headed for a playoff.

On the second playoff hole Bounleutay coolly sank this putt for birdie.  Gorman needed to match that....she couldn't.   So Bounleutay advances.  She'll face Vansistine Thursday morning at 7;30.

"I was shaking so badly.  I wanted this so bad," said Bounleutay about the playoff.  "That last putt it came at the right time.  I'm excited for tomorrow."
