Rockford, Illinois-The best kicker in the NIC-10 will be booting the football for Brock Spack and Illinois State. Boylan's Sean Slattery has committed to the Redbirds. He'll sign a national letter of intent next week.

Slattery booted two field goals of over 40 yards in Boylan's opening win over Hononegah last season and he kept rolling all season.  He also boomed most of his kickoffs through the endzone.

Former Boylan and former Fighting Illini kicker Derek Dimke told WTVO last fall that Slattery is a better kicker than he was in high school.
