They'll take on Lincolnshire Steven at the Class 4A NIU Super-Sectional. Stevenson's record is 25-3. They're led by a pair of sophomore guards who are Division One recruits.
One is Connor Cashaw who averages 16 points per game. The other is Jalen Brunson. He averages 21 points per game, and he's a tremendous ball handler.
"He's just a poised, strong, crafty type player for someone who's 15 or 16," says Boylan coach Mike Winters. "He'll be the best player we've seen this year."
Winters says the Titans will have a few things up their sleeves to try to stop Brunson. But the job of stopping him will belong primarily to the Titans' own athletic point guard DeMarcus Vines.
"I'm definitley looking forward to playing a guy with that type of talent," says Vines to WTVO. "He has about five Division One offers. I'm just ready to go out there and hopefully shut him down and get a win for my team."
The Super-Sectional game will begin at 8 p.m.
