Rockford, Illinois-Some of the Stateline's top fighters are ready to battle again. The anual Rumble On The River will be held Friday night at Cliffbreakers.

Tim Mazurkiewicz will be fighting in the main bout. He already has several championship belts. This time he'll be going after the Kage Concepts Heavyweight title. He'll fight a scheduled five-rounder against Ralph Howard of Chicago.

Zurk is 2-0 since his comeback after taking nine years off from kickboxing. He's using this fight as another tune-up for the World Amateur Kickboxing Championships this summer in Orlando.

"This was my plan to come back and fight three good fights," says Mazurkiewicz. "I want to get the ring rust off. Now I have a few months to button down and focus in on anything I need to in between then, tuning up and tightening up for the big show. There it'll be international competition coming from all over the world."

The doors will open at 5 p.m. Friday at Cliffbreakers. The fighting (MMA and kickboxing) will begin at 7:00 p.m. For tickets or informatino call (815) 979-9290.
